The Jeffrey Street Apartment is a lovely one bedroom Edinburgh holiday apartment situated on the second floor (no elevator in the building) of a 5 storey building. It has access to a communal rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Edinburgh and the surrounding countryside. The apartment features a bright and elegant lounge with dining table for two people, comfortable seating with a cosy electric fire and a flat screen TV with wifi channels. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with combined oven/microwave, two ring induction hob, fridge with freezer section, dishwasher and combined washer/dryer. The bathroom features a large walk in shower and illuminated bathroom mirror. Towels, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are provided.

The apartment is situated in the historic Old Town area of Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile which is a great choice for travellers interested in old town exploring, pubs and history. This includes the Castle, Old Town, Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, Calton Hill, Arthur’s Seat, The Scott’s Monument, Princes Street, George Street with it’s Designer Brand stores, New Town and also if brave enough, Edinburgh Dungeon! The Port Of Leith with its trendy waterside bars and cafes is also within easy reach.

 

Travel:

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 8.7 miles from The Jeffrey Street Apartment. If planning to travel further afield, Waverley train station is 0.2 miles/5 minutes walk from the apartment and the Hertz Car Hire Office is situated 0.7 miles/ 16 minutes walk away in Picardy Place. There is a tram stop 0.6 miles/12 minutes walk away on Princes Street and bus stops 3 minutes walk away on North Bridge. The taxi rank is situated 2 minutes walk away on East Market Street. Public parking (payable) is available at the NCP Waverley train station multi storey car park.

Lindsey was the most accommodating host, her apartment is gorgeous and if I happen to return to Edinburgh, I would be lucky to stay at her place again! I would thoroughly recommend, close to everything and convenient! 10/10 stars if I could!

We had such a brilliant time and were really happy with the flat! So clean and really thoughtful to find everything to make tea and coffee when we arrived, and also the bed is one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in. Location wise it is close to everything. I can’t fault this place on anything. We will come back!

Great apartment. Very kooky with lots of personality, but wonderfully comfortable and a great nights sleep. In an excellent location for exploring the old town and right near all the transport links. Lovely and warm, thoughtful touches throughout, and generally a perfect stay!

Such an amazing location just off Royal Mile (you can actually see it from the living room window). Apartment was pristine and we couldn’t believe how amazing it was. Definitely somewhere we’d look to book again. Great communication and lovely little  touches in the flat from host.

Lindsey’s place has been the best so far that we’ve had the pleasure of staying at while in Edinburgh. My husband and I have been here four times now and each time it gets better and better. I mean, what can be better than staying in a full flat just off the Royal Mile? The flat has a very comfy bed, plenty of items to make a meal, coffee, etc. There’s a nice view from the rooftop which we had access to. There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants just downstairs or around the block, if one doesn’t suit you, walk just a bit further and you’ll find something. Lindsey was very responsive when we communicated with her and check-in was easy. Would definitely love to stay here again next time in Edinburgh.
